Content of the course
In the first part of the course, we will recall parts of the theory of p-divisible groups. Topics to be covered are finite locally free group schemes, p-divisible groups, Witt vectors and Dieudonné theory. In the second part, we will construct moduli spaces of p-divisible groups of EL- and PEL-type following the book of Rapoport and Zink and study some examples of such spaces.
